The swivel system is designed to be quickly converted from wide to narrow and back again.
This allows flexibility for (for example) only deploying it when hail storms threaten.
The canopy is converted from wide to narrow and back again by pulling on each end. A row 1000ft (300m) long is swivelled in a couple of minutes !
Note how the fabric pulls up tight and out of the way in the process of swivelling. The picture below shows the swivelling process.

The pictures below show the same system set up for car protection.
The system can be set so that it is strong enough for moderate snows, but is swiveled into storage mode for the worst of the winter. This makes it a very economical system for protecting large areas which would otherwise need a solid roof.

What size holes can we have in the net?Fabrics that can be used with the swivel system.
The fabric is a fairly tight weave hail net which provides up to 20% shade if black is used, or about 10% shade under white.
